PACCM Fellowship and Education Coordinator

Position Summary
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking applications for a Fellowship and Education Coordinator. This full-time, University Staff position will coordinate the Pulmonary Fellowship & Educational Programs within the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy & Critical Care Medicine (PACCM) in the Department of Medicine. Under the direction of the Pulmonary Fellowship Program Directors (PD) and Division Administrator (DA)/Business Services Manager (BSM), this position will plan, direct, and coordinate academic, operational, and financial activities for the fellowship and other divisional education programs. This includes assisting in the development of program educational and administrative goals and objectives; supporting the fellowship directors and fellows as needed; and providing sound guidance and advice to Department personnel regarding pertinent fellowship and educational program issues/information.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Division’s educational program, specifically the subspecialty programs.

Provide administrative support for Program Directors and provide ad-hoc support for Associate Program Directors and fellows.

Serve as liaison to the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office as it relates to PACCM’s subspecialty programs.

Maintain fellow scholarly activity data for T32 grants and ACGME annual update and maintain training files on current subspecialty fellows and alumni.

Implement the Program’s educational and administrative goals, objectives, and structures working with the Program Directors, Business Services Manager, and Division Administrator.

Assists ACGME-accredited subspecialties with annual compliance requirements: Site Visits, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, WebADS annual update, etc.

Tracks fellowship procedures in MedHub. Monitors each fellow’s board eligibility status.

Attends and actively participates in monthly CU GME PC meetings.
Work Location
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
- One (1) year of experience as a residency or fellowship program coordinator.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years of general clerical or administrative service experience.
- One (1) year of experience in an academic, medical, or health care setting.
- Experience working in an academic environment with an emphasis on day-to-day management of business and administrative operations.
- Experience working with University of Colorado software systems (Concur, MedHub, CU Marketplace).

- Knowledge of rules and regulations related to Education and Fellowship (MedHub, ERAS, NRMP, ACGME WebADS, specialty board (ABIM/ACC), GME Track and FREIDA).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
