The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking faculty members for immediate recruitment. We are seeking applications from candidates with expertise in Sleep Medicine, Interventional Pulmonology, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and other subspecialty areas within Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, as well as General Pulmonology.
The Division is home to an accredited Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center and serves as a national referral center for Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) and Pulmonary Vascular Diseases. Our faculty collaborate extensively with investigators in the Vascular Biology Center, the Georgia Cancer Center, the Bone Marrow Transplant Program, and the Renal Transplant Program. The Division offers a broad range of specialized clinical services, including Interventional Pulmonology, Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary Hypertension, Asthma, COPD, Lung Nodule management, and critical care.
The Medical College of Georgia, one of the nation's largest public medical schools, matriculates approximately 230 medical students annually. The Division sponsors ACGME-accredited fellowship programs in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Interventional Pulmonology and is strongly committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research.
We are actively recruiting faculty across the spectrum of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. While there is a particular need for physicians with expertise in Sleep Medicine and Interventional Pulmonology, we are equally interested in candidates with training and interests in general pulmonology, critical care medicine, and other pulmonary subspecialties. Clinical responsibilities and protected time will be tailored to each faculty member's expertise, interests, and career goals.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include an MD, DO, or equivalent degree and board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
