Recognizes Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine Training Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, Key Clinical Faculty or fellows-in-training for their outstanding contributions and commitment to medical education research.
The Darlene Buczak Award for Educational Excellence recognizes pulmonary and critical care medicine training program directors for their outstanding contributions and commitment to medical education and training.
With this inaugural award, the APCCMPD honors an exemplary clinician educator through its Outstanding Educator Award. PCCM, CCM, and Pulmonary Fellowship Programs may nominate an individual within the P/CCM Field.
We are pleased to announce that on August 1, 2014 the APCCMPD became an independent organization.
This year, after lengthy consideration, the Board of Directors decided that we should manage ourselves independently. Although we intend to maintain a very close business relationship with CHEST, this new structure will allow us to expand upon our mission, and support Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Training Programs, their faculty and staff.
