We are pleased to announce that on August 1, 2014 the APCCMPD became an independent organization.
This year, after lengthy consideration, the Board of Directors decided that we should manage ourselves independently. Although we intend to maintain a very close business relationship with CHEST, this new structure will allow us to expand upon our mission, and support Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Training Programs, their faculty and staff. The Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors (APCCMPD) leadership and support of pulmonary and critical care medicine training programs, staff, and faculty is widely recognized. The APCCMPD aspires to foster excellence in training and mentoring of the next generation of educators in pulmonary and critical care medicine. We value Education as a Profession, Responsiveness, Supportiveness, Inclusiveness, and Advocacy.
The APCCMPD offers a broad array of services and resources to help training programs provide high-quality training and education.
