CME Course on Physician Work Hours, Health and Patient Safety by Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education
The Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education is offering a CME course on Physician Work Hours, Health and Patient Safety. This four-day course will consist of an intensive series of lectures and workshops designed to assist training programs to: educate faculty members and resident physicians in alertness and fatigues risk management processes; provide training and tools necessary for training program faculty to implement structured hand-over processes that facilitate both continuity of care and patient safety; and manage the potential negative effects of fatigue on patient care, learning and resident physician well-being.
